Yep. Envato has stopped supporting it at Creattica and FreelanceSwitch as well.

1 percent seems like a pretty big number (and 5 percent for browsing) for a website like digg. It would certainly make a statement if they stopped supporting ie6 (i’m all for it, really), though in digg’s case, id think they’d be talking about a few hundred(?) users every day.
What does scare me is :
I don’t feel a need to upgrade. 17% I prefer IE6 to other browsers. 7%

Sure does. There’s also the interesting Digg stats that 69% uses IE6 with no other choice. Should be frustrating being stuck with old technology.
Jeff, at which percent would Themeforest stop supporting it?
I’m aware that there’s still just above 14% using IE6 to surf the net and that still is a relevant customer base for us.

@maginem – We’ll stop making IE6 a requirement for templates once IE6 usage is in the single digits. Last check, it’s hovering around 13-14%—but that number is dropping rapidly every month.
I’m hoping to make IE6 compliance an option around September/October.
It’s not about developing for IE6 , more on giving support for it.
great!
Yeah its sad how long IE6 has stuck around. I truly feel bad for the people who still use it without knowing any better, and also for designers/developers like us to have to try to tinker for hours with it for stupid things that should just work. I hope it dies out soon!
