great questions, maybe someone combine them all into one big survey once they’re ready and some of us can answer… I’m an atypical buyer, might want to somehow incentivize all buyers to answer, (eg get a free bonus file if you complete the survey by August 30th, email sent to all buyers) type of approach. I’ts very important to survey customers, makes a big difference… good to use services like surveymonkey/surveygizmo/others to help w/surveys, to see trends/buying preferences.

That’s my intention Ken…..after picking up the most important questions posted here, I want to start some kind of beta group of buyers from all the marketplaces, authors that are active in the community. I think this would be great help for authors. I have contacted some buyers and they like the idea.

(Ken: I will post on the VH forums so you can answer the questions. Your privacy is very important for me too)

Good News: Heard a rumour that Envato is going to release an analytics feature for authors (currently in beta use) Many authors in the top 500 are currently testing this new system, with additional features to be rolled out in the future and made public.

Some features:
  • Traffic Summary
  • Referrals
  • Keywords(external search engines)
  • That is going to be so cool!!

I would like to know if buyers would like to see 3d projects that include the 3d source files. If yes then what would your preferred 3d application be ?
