There is a nice little giveaway over at Abduzeedo where they are giving away a few copies of Billings 3 which I think is a sweet little program for dealing with your invoices etc when working with clients. All you have to do is leave a comment on the page to be in with a chance of winning… get posting ;)

Frustratingly this is only available for those of us who, sigh, own one of those overly priced boxes named “macs”. Having emailed the support for Billings 3 they currently have no plans to port it over to the PC… urgh!

I currently use Slim Timer but Billings 3 looks sooooo much sweeter than this :( (granted you have to pay for it but..)

So, i’m wondering… what do all of you guys use? :)

Although I haven’t used it, The Invoice Machine looks pretty nice and reasonably priced

Freshbooks is a great online invoice tool. Its free, with a paid account for extra features.

From what I hear, quickbooks now has some sort of online program thats supposed to be the bees knees as well.

I have Billings 3 and it’s great but too much stuff there for my needs. Currently I use Mac Freelance, just about everything I need for now.

See this thread: http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/pc-application-similar-to-billings/13313?page=1

Freshbooks is a top pick for me. Web hosted (platform independent), flexible for simple or complex use and actually quite affordable. :-)

For those of you still taking a look at your options, I’ve posted a new blog post about FreshBooks that you can see here. I mention some of the pricing information that most people tend not to see as well as some features they can provide that a desktop app won’t. :-)
