It seam that apple will write soon “Thoughts on HTML5”, it seam that they are making the mobile browser worse with each update… Interesting video and comments below.

To be quite honest, I’m very disappointed in iOS 7, from my standpoint as a front end developer for mobiles, they screwed up big time! I can make a list about it but it’s pointless. I’m still waiting for 7.1 :)

If you take a person who has never used an iPhone before, and knows nothing about iOS, and show him iOS6 and iOS7, and ask him which one is supposed to be an advancement over the other, he will give you the wrong answer.

I like the overall change (hate the icons of the new iOS) of the iOS, but the CSS transitions are so slow and I’m wondering why there was no real improvement in this area…

Not quite sure about this. I think the design is modern, the notification system has advanced, multi tabs on safari are a joy and the multitasking experience is improoved as well (at least switching between apps). I for one think that iOS7 brings more to the table than iOS6 did in comparison to iOS5

Is not about the design, they are screwing the browser intentionally, in my eyes this is another Apple strategy to sell more apps… I hope this time they will not succeed, I don’t think I can’t imagine the web only with apps, it will be to depressing …. crazy thoughts :)

What did you expect? It’s all about milking money. They even disabled the scroll hack which could hide the address bar for gaining more space on the tiny little screen. Well done, Apple. I have a suggestion, why don’t they render it in black and white so people can just forget about Safari mobile at once?
