Is Envato ever going to introduce a support system?

I have just signed up to another marketplace to check things out and see how things are compared to TF. They have a nice support system build right into the the item’s page with search. Will Envato ever get out of this stagnation period and build this? Buyers and Authors have wanted this for YEARS!

I don’t mean to hate, just venting. Unfortunately everyone knows things are not exactly progressive here, apart from new badges…

According to the interview with Helen (the new General Manager of Envato):

We have big plans for this year. The whole team is really focused on doing more ‘front end’ improvements for our users, after working more on the platform level ‘back end’ of our sites last year. From search to item support and everything in between, we are doing a lot of planning and hiring right now to achieve ambitious goals this year.

+1 It is a shame that these days not even staffs are replying these kind of requests. I really wonder with what kind of mind set, Envato staffs are claiming that ThemeForest as largest marketplace. There is no honest research or innovation to help efficient buyer – author communication. period

And it is unprofessional to always put the answers like “we are hiring” when it comes to basic improvements. Please hire first yourself staffs! What are you doing? It appears that all the problems are with order of priority.

^ I was asking about staffs who decides next set of improvements (not about developers – as they don’t decide). Many times, when they say “hiring”, it gives the following impression:

Member: We need features x, y, z is easy and necessary; when will it come.
Staff: Those are awesome. We are hiring few people to cover all those things.
Member (thinks): Good, they will do when they hire few more developers.
Staff (probably thinks): Should hire someone who will decide whether these things are really needed. Right now I am busy with new ventures.

Result: [Time runs with its usual speed without many obvious options]
