the top bar, I think, is relatively new. The right bar’s been there for quite sometime now
It might be a little bit off topic, but every time I try to access google.com, it automatically redirects me to google.lt (my native language). And I am completely fed up with that! I think everything that is connected to computers and internet should be in English, so I want google page to be too! My default Windows language is also English, but google is still displayed in Lithuanian… I have tried changing the language in google accounts settings, but that only works with my gmail, and not google… Anyone knows how to change that language?
P.S. I can’t see this feature you are talking about, that’s way I am concerned about the language.
I wanted to also know what feature are you talking about ? Am I missing something obvious ?
on bottom right of google homepage should be a link to google.com
if you click that you can use the English version

Well, I clicked that but everything is still in Lithuanian, only a couple of buttons in the top bar changed their positions (actually, this link worked a couple of minutes ago, but just after I clicked Google Search, it changed back to Lithuanian)
The European Commission (or some fancy thing where people in suits meet and complain about stuff) are accusing Google of having too much of a monopoly with things like this, as they’re taking a lot of traffic and business away from the sites which would ordinarily show this sort of information, which is true to be fair, especially when they often leech the information from those sites in the first place.
On the consumer’s side though, I think it’s pretty cool and useful, especially when you search things like ‘formula 1’ and ‘premier league’
MRMdesigns: search for something in your default Google language, and then change something in the link. For example:https://www.google.sk/#hl=sk&..............................
