Guys,

I am a flash game developer. I do facebook flash applications too.

I am thinking whether is it worth selling flash games below $40 with full source code.

Even though you sell it for multiple times, I am sure the code is worth much more than that we get here.

Please suggest

What you could do is create one and see how that goes. Or check out the games section on this site to see how things sell.

Honestly? No! People want games like that for themselves, I believe they don`t like sharing. So it would be a great waste to sell a flash game let’s say 50 times for 40$ and at the marketplace rate make about 800$ , or sell it once for 1000 / 2000$ Don’t you think ?

Yes,

I believe so.

I have few small games already selling good.

But in my opinion, If our game is rated $40 then we will get max 50% out of the selling price that means $20.

And if the game is of high quality then activeden will rate it $40. That means we have to spend few days to few months to create the game for very less return.

But one thing is we can have our online portfolio.

Please suggest which is the best way to sell flash games.

Thank you for your replies

Definitely not. Create games for mobile devices.

I created 2 games for mobile, launching them next month on ovi.com and iphone app store.

Last week i posted on the forums my game: Drunki, to see how that goes. People played it about 900+ times a day, but will it sell. Don’t think so

I’m also agree with the “no”, sadly. But if you decide to make something try to introduce some advertisment element inside, configurable from xml, like a ad banner, logo, etc. I think it’s the only way to make good sales with a game here.

Hmm,

Great idea.

Actually if we have small games then the price is less. Thinking what to do.

I was thinking of selling some multi-player kind of games over this market place. Then I saw the game rates in to day’s markets.

Thinking how to reach more people especially the business people who can buy my game licenses.

Lets see how does this go

Please suggest things/places where people can sell their games with codes easily without spending lots of time and work around.

Thanks guys
