Guys, I am so frustrated. Have a look here: [link removed]
Most of ThemeForest themes are available for sale with a discounted price. A buyer just asked me 5 minutes ago if it is a legit place to buy one of our themes, and he shared the link with me.
Honesty, is this a joke? You can actually buy them.
Note to Buyers: Do not buy anything from there. You do not know what product you will receive, you will not be eligible for theme updates and God knows what else.
This is pathetic.
If they are selling with PayPal send PayPal a “Infringement Report”
“It is PayPal’s policy to take appropriate action where necessary to remove from the PayPal services or to disallow the use of PayPal services in connection with material that is claimed to be infringing. If you are an intellectual property rights owner and you believe a website or a webpage using PayPal services sells, offers for sale, makes available goods and/or services or otherwise includes content or materials that infringe your intellectual property rights, then please complete this Infringement Report in its entirety and fax it to 1-402-537-5774 or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.”
That will stop them pretty quick
Also you could send the web host a DMCA.
I flagged your comment – really amazing how people post links to these kind of things… the rules are simple, don’t link, just report.
Themeforest have to figure out a way to make sure every wordpress theme authorised for one website only.
For example make the purchase code linked to 1 domain and if it was extended license, the buyer have to link every domain to his purchase code.
I left the website a message via their chat system, if they don’t take my item down, I will send DMCA at his host. Please do the same.
If this website bought all these items as extended license, he allowed to resell it again??
He cannot resell “as is”, only under certain conditions like part of a package and other conditions, but not this kind of course.
He must be identified and banned from Themeforest and Paypal as well.
