Hi all, came across an interesting website:http://chordmaps.com
I haven’t gone through it all to check it is correct but looks like it might be handy, if only for inspiration. I have my own little brown book of theory I made years ago with lots of weird and unusual discoveries in that I normally go to but this looks like it may be worth a read and bit of printer ink
Guess not lol
Yes. Thanks, it is a good reference to have online.
I have some old tattered theory books that people study for exams. They are rather dry but are good for reference. It has to be appreciated that what sounds “right” in western music has been built up over the years on a number of rules. Knowing these “rules” can only improve your ability to compose and arrange.
A good book on harmony is another aid.
