Im searching for an answer and it’s been like more months away and i still don’t have a solution. I try it on more than 6 forums, so this is kind of my last hope, so all help will be really appreciated.
I am making a one page site. The idea is, that the site contains 4 sub pages. First 2 are black, the last 4th is white and the 3rd is half black and half white. On all this sites the menu should be fixed, so only the content is scrollable.
So my problem is, that i want to make a angled split menu. That means, when u come to the 3rd page, the menu will change colors – on white on black background and black on white background.. But i really want the angled split to been seen just like this: http://dabblet.com/gist/3336149 – but this solution doe’s not work.
Would that black part be moving?
Why this solution you showed does not work?
BenSheppard – which black part? I only want to move the content – 4 sub pages. The menu should be fixed on all sites.
LuanMuniz – the problem always appears when the content is moving. Because i need to tell the code, where to split. I saw many solutions like yours. I think it’s need to be something like that: the content moves horizontal. The menu is fixed, so there needs to be a connection, between that. It’s hard to explain. The top menu layer should know, when the half black and half site comes in, so it can change the color, but this change should only be visible on text and it’s difficult to code that.. In easy way, the fixed menu always depends on scrollable content. And between them are to many layers..I also found this: http://askthecssguy.com/examples/fixedBackgroundImages/example02.html
it’s souch a easy solution, that u don’t even want to know. I made this horizontal, but still got some problems. Will see what i can do..
