Is this normal?

A customer just left me this comment on a poster:

“i just spent $8 dollars for nothing i can’t modify my flyer why false advertising. fking bullshit i want my money back or else i will expose this company all over facebook for the fraud that u r”

What would you do in this case?

Report it. It’s their fault for not understanding what they’re spending their money on. It won’t affect your sales whatsoever mate.

• Once you have reported it no one else can see it. If they keep posting keep reporting them.

Obviously, it would be courteous of you to email them and offer help, but as I said, it’s their own fault for not understanding what they’re buying. You are not obliged to provide support.

yes, I answered like this:

“hey there!

just calm down and tell me what’s the problem! other 40 people bought the same thing and they had no problem? Which version of photoshop are you using? What does restrain you from editing the file? Before accusing people, you may try to explain better the problem”

He’s telling he cannot modify the flyer.. So i guess he doesn’t have photohop

Its a tough one when people don’t read the file details, or don’t read the instructions you provide. I had one guy go metal in an email to me, and I ask if he had read the instructions and he said no. He had alepready rated my file 1 star. He said sorry but could not change the rating.

I don’t have Illustrator – That was my fault for not reading file types.

I didn’t use the file, so I was fair and didn’t rate it, but I most certainly wouldn’t rate it down.

Like I said, it’s their fault mate so if they continue to blame you just report it.

Ask them for an EPS – it doesn’t come in layers after you open it, buy maybe you can still use it.

ALSO – yes it’s a shame when someone doesn’t read the content about the file.

Lucky for me I only had 2 problems and resolved them by fixing a file for them.

Easy files, like 2-3 minutes of work on my end.

A laughing matter for the prosecution who has made you, because the files are well specified (Here on GraphicRiver) ex: PSD , CSx Version, CMYK , Font info etc. Above all you have also tried to help him, in this case is the fault of the buyer.

@Graphic-Studio, I needed a layered PSD , but it’s no problem, was only a $2 file!

Someone send me the same but he was using Ps 7 and i told him to download Cs3 and up to modify it but still he was complaining that the files didnt work! so waht we can do in this case just prove them that they dont read before they buy? or to be polite or even dont even bother
