I have just submitted another item to the CodeCanyon marketplace however over the past 6-hours the percentage bar has gone from being 50% to 25% to 60% to 15% and then back to 75% I am wondering why does it do these jumps.

I understand that it takes nearly 24-72 hours for a product to be approved but it makes no sense why the bar doesn’t start at 0% and work its way up.

the item approval percentage bar of Envato is like the Metro in Rome

it says 5 min then after 3 minutes it says 4 min, after 3 minutes it says 3 then 2, then 1 then it goes back to 5 min… .) then after waiting one hour they announce you that the metro is blocked for the day on line A :)

Hi,

Please read this:

http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/soft-rejected-items-review-queue-is-going-slow/105052?page=8#933887

By the way, this thread is 8 months old and progress bar still isn’t working correctly. I believe fixing it isn’t easy and requires some heavy backend development to be done and there are lots of more important issues to be sorted out by devs. But wouldn’t it be enough to hide it? It would save a LOT of confusion over last… hmm, 3/4 year :|
