I’ve noticed that 90% of support questions seem to come through comments on an item page. As far as I know the only way to find out if there’s a new comment is to login to the author dashboard. But, I’d really like to be notified when questions come in, so I can reply quicker.
Does any know if this is possible? Is there perhaps a setting somewhere that I’m not seeing? Or do I just have to religiously login to my dashboard?
On a sidenote it’d be cool to be notified when an item sells as well. If anyone know of a secret setting for that as well I’d love to know.

One option is to subscribe to the comments feed through an RSS reader.
As for item sales notifications, there is a Chrome extension that I use for that. Just search for “Envato”. Probably something similar for Firefox too, I would guess

Interesting that envato doesn’t provide anything themselves. Thanks for pointing out the other resrouces, I forgot all about the envato API ’s I’ll take a look at them and see if I can put something together myself!
I actually completely forgot about the API and RSS feeds. It never occurred to me to check for add ons either. Seems a little more complicated than it should be, but it’s better than nothing. I suppose a well made app would be better than email notifications though. So I’ll definitely look into it. Thanks guys!
