Recently, I am feeling great because I just refer ( in real life ) two startups to purchase a themes from ThemeForest to kick start their business.

One of them is running a resort somewhere in the forets in Malaysia and I recommend Orman’s gridview for him as what he need is a nice looking gallery.

Another one is a consultation company, she is still choosing from the list of themes that I recommended.

It just feel great when you see their reaction:

“Wow, thats cheap! I can really setup my company website in 10 minutes! OMG !”.

“So, you mean, I only need to pay $35 and pay few more hours to a freelancer to help me modify and my site will be up, today? How can that be possible?”

Both of them are my new ‘colleagues’ in Fluent Space – a coworking office recently setup in Malaysia.

Just to share my little story here with you guys. You guys are awesome!

I have a similar story. I had lunch with my old boss last week. He left the company we both worked for to start his own business, and I set him up with a basic website using WordPress and Twicet. He couldn’t believe that businesses had fulltime webmasters on the payroll doing what he can do himself with WordPress and a $35 theme. He has a few plugins to help with social media and SEO , and he gets tons of business from clients finding him through the website.

I’ve also had many similar stories. Clients are always impressed with the quality and price of TF themes. TF really helps a lot of freelancers start their own business, as they are able to provide top-notch quality sites for 1/20th (often even less!) of what professional design studios are charging.

For instance, my friend was recently was able to get a job from a huge client because the competing designers for the job were charging $12 000 (lol) and he only a few hundred dollars.
