Hi I’m a JavaScript novice.I need to validate my form and submit it without page reload…. Pls guide me to an appropriate tutorial or if possible help me out…

Here is what i want to create… My form include a single field only I want the user to enter a url.[while the user is entering data a small loading image shall be shown] If the url specified matches google.com or microsft.com [then turn that loading image into green tick image] If the url does not match [then turn into red cross]

ALSO I would like to submit form without page reload…

This is just an example so that i can modify it to my use.
