Manage to get the slider work, but not sure how to add in the indicator.
Can I do it like this? Separate 5 thumbnails into a div and use the div number to define the indicator?

You mean just a bullet? You can set text-indent to -9999 for anchor or li (whichever is the containing parent tag) and set a background image for that.
