Recently I asked Denonstudio if he could put together a special Javascript Widget that would use the Envato API to allow people to showcase items on their own website without doing any hard coding and without needing server side code (eg. PHP ).

Denon has built a cool little widget which is available in the Wiki.

You can see a Demo or Download the Widget.

Wow this is fantastic! Only one thing, the themeforest files / items on the demo are not displaying – but it looks super cool – will be downloading for sure!

What’s the license for this? I’d like to add it to my WordPress admin sub-menu to display my marketplace items, replacing the .atom feed. Would that be allowed?

Hey Jonathan! There seems to be a bug caused by the Birthday Bundle from last month, but John is fixing it up shortly!

It sure would, you can use this script in any way you wish! I’ll get that into a proper license on the page soon

Does anyone know if using this (with all its external links), would be bad for seo? thinking about making a files page on my blog.

I am thinking about the same thing, but I have already done an item page on my blog and I think it’s better for seo if you have custom page because then you place the description and all that stuff, what do you think guys ?
