I would like to compile a list of good / free / premium js sliders so that authors can easily implement into their templates/themes.

CSS3 is a great fallback for a JS slider.

This depends on your definition of premium I guess, there are literallly loads of js sliders out there if you google.

Of course my favourites are Anything slider, nivo slider and kwicks accordion slider.
