Hey everyone…
My recent file was rejected. Here is a reason for rejection;
Unfortunately, we cannot accept your file. Your file appears to follow a popular design trend which we receive a LOT of submission for on GraphicRiver…
Here is a preview: http://folksnetdesktop.com/images/stories/desktop/graphic-design/image/3d_text_shadows_preview.jpg
The point to this tread, I would like to know how many authors will agree with the reviewer.
Cheers

Hello Folksnet,
I’m sorry to hear that your file has been rejected, although I agree with the reviewer. It isn’t very unique and very simple to make it yourself in Photoshop by using drop shadow.
Good luck!

The shadow is not that simple, it made out of 15 layers.

Oh, sorry! Well, it looks quite simple to me. Perhaps you could do something to make the complexity of the shadow a bit more visible?

Most likely I’ll have it as a freebie.
But I still want to know what other authors think about a rejection.
Hi. Folksnet. In your design i see that the shadows are more complexe but a good designer can make it only from Photoshop Styles. I have some styles rejected now, and they aremore complexe than yours.
Hope that’s helping you.
P.S. – maybe the background it’s not the bst choice.
Hi Folksnet,
It looks that reviewers are in the PS Styles filtering mode, huh? The standards are pretty high.
stefusilviu has a pretty valid point here. This same effect could be achieved with Layer Styles only.
Though I still see some incoherences in the approval decision, you gotta submit a very unique Style to get approved these days! I personally don’t agree with trend based rejections, but that’s not up to me to decide. (I think about creating a thread on this subject)
Think of this as a chance go further with your creations! You have such great items that you’ll have no problems to nail it.
Good luck!

It is just too simple it lack uniqueness and has little intensive to buy, you need to make things people look at and think I could not do that.
At the moment the file and preview could be made in a few minutes, and with just layer styles.
It is a hard segment to get sales in so you really have to make your files amazing!
good luck
Thanks a lot everyone.
I appreciated all feedback
