I have a site that is built using the Karma template and I keep hearing from my host that the server it is on continues to crash due to high load issue. Currently the server I have this site running on is setup as follows:

1,024 MB Memory 60GB Hard Drive 500GB Bandwidth 0.8 GHz CPU

This seems like it should be more than enough to handle this. Can someone help me with suggestions on where to start to diagnose this issue?

your server “should” to able to handle that load.. few questions first

whats your traffic like? monthly daily etc…

how many domains are you hosting?

how many plugins to you have installed?

what version of WP?

do you have any cache or speed related plugins?

are you using a CDN ?

The cloud server this is on is only hosting this one website which is why this is a red flag to me. The traffic is very very minimal at this point which is why it led me to believe that there was a “leak” somewhere. They had like 12 plugins installed and I went in and installed WP Super Cache and disabled some of the plugins that were not in use. They are running 3.3.2.

I heard of a plugin called P3 PLugin Performance Profiler but I cannot get it to work to diagnose which plugin might be causing the issue.
