Knocked something up - Need criticism

I just knocked this little template up, still needs a LOAD of work done, as it is only a homepage right now, Just wanted to know what you thought, before I start leading myself down the wrong road!

Clean, interesting (smart feature, by making the “fog” move) – with a good combination of your colour choises.

For what purpose are you making this / what’s the message you want to send ?

I love the concept of the menu vs the background image with the fog over it, nice idea, i think that it has a future.

Thank you very much I plan to have that “fog” effect to be easy to change different patterns and directions.

The colour is also a single colour that the user can pick that generates all of these highlight colours.

Shadows and boxes of the “blog posts” Thick border? On the navagation?

What do you think would be better? All in the middle? align with the boxes above it?

Don’t call it “Freshface”.
If I do remember correctly, turkhitbox wanted to call one of his items “Kriesi” about a year ago. Good marketing move, but bad ethics. It would not be tolerated.

If I was Freshface I would not tolerate a theme looking as horrible as this one having my name branded on it. Typography, graphics, whitespace, originality – everything is very poor.

I was unaware that freshface already existed.

As for the review. Brutal haha! What would you suggest for improvement?
