Leaderboard ???

Guys, is it just me or all the credits of competitors suddenly increase to more 20 credits. Triworks hasn’t uploaded anything new, last day his credits were about 88, now they’re 111 ! I guess the bug appeared when staff removed bobocel from the board

It is not a bug. Actually have removed the bug.

Do you remember that flashden had increased the credits of all files of all authors some days back?

Actually they have updated the leaderbaord now.

i only got 5 creds extra…. now im in third place.

Btw i still don’t understand why samss100 has 11 files awaiting approval, either i want these files approved if they are really there, so i know how much to beat or if it’s a bug i’d like it to be fixed…

Oh an Sams’ files were video files which I was supposed to approve… and erm … well as you know I’m a bit slow So now bobocel is taking over video approvals! yay!

You cannot beat samss100.

If you want to beat samss100 then you have to follow the same tricks like him. And for that you have to learn After Effects or similar software application. What he does is actually that he makes an effect in After Effects etc. and just change the tint and he gets say red, blue, green etc effects. So its very hard for you to beat him.:(

I have worked in After Effects and you can see I have uploaded a video loop as well. Let me find some free time and then I will follow the samss100’s way.

And it wasn’t actually a bug fix either! We were counting the cost of the file when it was first set – but with our new Reviewers they’d often go back and make changes 5-10 minutes later on some files… So people were adding up their portfolios and seeing there was a discrepancy, even though the Competition details mentioned this.

Despite that, we were getting a lot of people writing in saying it was wrong (even though it technically wasn’t), especially after our site-wide file price increases, so we decided for better or worse to make it count the current price of files.

So that’s the really long explanation
