Problem solved. For those with the same issue…
I deleted the app, downloaded again on the iPhone – still not fixed. So I later downloaded the app direct from my mac and stored it on the laptop, then sync’d with iPhone. Ive no idea why, there is no logic here, but the latter seems to have fixed the problem.
