Thanks for creating this Justin! Amazingly easy-to-use interface and very appealing to the eye.

Only thing I can recommend is getting those Timezones in the timezone drop down menu nicely ordered. They’re all scrambled at the moment.

Would you consider making an iOS(and Android) app for this? I’m happy to pay for an app like this.

Thanks again!

Really thank you.

Just a Q? Does it update auto by every sale, comment, ... ? or I should refresh the browser?

This is very nice, and thank you for offering. I was going to set my timezone, but it is impossible because there are so many in the drop-down and they aren’t in any order.

Yeah sorry about that, it’s crazy how many different ones there are. Maybe I can simply change it to GMT minus/plus options. (i.e. GMT -5, GMT +3, etc.)

The web-based dashboard updates every 30 minutes when the notification cron is run, in which case you will need to refresh the page. I do plan on adding auto updates though, perhaps playing a short sound (beep, tick, etc.) that plays when there are new notifications. The only automatic part of Leafping at the moment are the notifications that get sent via SMS or Boxcar.

I would love to create a Leafping app, however my skillset is very limited in that arena. If anyone out there wants to team up to create one, let me know!

That would be amazing! Unfortunately I don’t know anybody with these skills either. Let’s hope somebody capable and willing will knock on your door sooner or later. :)

One more thing though, is there a possibility to change my password within LeafPing? I had to re-login and had to visit my email again to get to the auto-generated password. UPDATE Found it already under settings, my bad.

As for the estimate, it should be pretty accurate. The later in the month it is, the more accurate it gets however. Basically how it works is this: 1) Leafping gets your current earnings so far for this month, let’s pretend that’s $100. 2) You might have money in your account already, so it gets the difference. 3) Then it divides the $100 by the current day (the 9th), we get $11.11 4) Then it multiplies that result by the number of days in the month (31), we get $344.41. 5) $344.41 is the estimate for earnings, but then we add in the difference from the second step to get a final estimate of what should be in your account at the end of the month, earnings-wise.

Ah okay, I got it now. I was expecting the number would show the amount of money i will probably earn this month, but it shows how much i will probably have on my account after the month, right ?

I think its also interesting to have an estimate of just the month earning, because i dont always remember how much i had in my account at the beginning of the month.. would be cool if you can implement that :P

Hi, I like the app but: the leafping website doesn’t refresh itself I have to refresh it manualy to see new sales. I have linked the app to my boxcar account the test message was sent successfully but I haven’t recived any sales notification… :/ (this was the feature I was looking for)

Unfortunately Boxcar is starting to fall apart. They seem to still be actively developing the product, but I’ve been seeing many issues with it lately. Anyone know of any other good notification APIs that we can use instead?

Also, the web app is meant to be a dashboard at the moment, not a notification system (that’s what the SMS and Boxcar settings are for!), but I do plan on adding some form of auto-updating to the dashboard in the future.
