I would like to create my own WordPress theme one day. Therefore, I would like to know if there is any preferable sites containing tutorials on how to create your own WordPress theme.

Seeing that you have purchased between 10-49 items. Im guessing at least one of them is a Wordpress template? Between the codex and dismantling a pre-existing theme you will be able to get your head around it pretty quickly. Provided the code in the them is nice and commented.

Thats always a good place to start. That way you have something to compare your own theme against.
