I keep finding, tons and tons of links of files stolen from the marketplace. I am sure you can agree with me.

Devs, can you add a button, on the marketplace, ” Report A Stolen File Link ” Where you can just add the link and click okay? Or maybe a list of links?

This should be just for files outside the marketplaces, as each file in the marketplace has it’s own ” Report File ” button.

Firstly that would be much faster than sending a e-mail to support, secondly, it would spare support all the links and Ibrahim Rodríguez Anti-Piracy member of your staff could get them directly and take measure against them.

A marketplace button to report links directly would be perfect.

Where is this button going to be? on the marketplaces files or your profile page?

Well, it may be a little bit faster but not that much. The other concern with your suggestion is that having a more visible button may suggest buyers to search for “bad links”. Imagine having your own store and you have an add close to your items suggesting to report something illegal. In terms on selling, may not be a good idea.

The The Freshkiller does an amazing job reporting bad links and helping authors, but I agree with you on to speed it up the process.

It would be great to add that button on the support page.

You should just make the copy clearer, right now it could mean what you mean or it could mean ‘report a file on a marketplace that is stolen from somewhere else.’

Something like:

“Found an exclusive [marketplace here] file somewhere else? Tell us and get a shiny badge!”
