Lets make this clear - monetized youtube videos with AJ music

If other marketplace peeps can use watermarked music from audiojungle in their videos then can I use watermarked aftereffects animations or watermarked stock footage in my audio previews? Only seems fair.

Of course the audio player would have to be updated to allow video playback but I don’t see why that would be very difficult…

I’d be happy to provide links back to the watermarked file author or whatever. Just seems a little biased towards video-fx/footage guys having cooler available options.

I think this would at least double the work, logistics-wise, that must be done by AJ. Reviewers would have to check that videos are in proper formats, are allowed for AJ use, etc. Also, users would psychologically relate some specific imagery to our music, which I’m not sure is such a good idea. The “video preview” would then have to be an optional thing, which means a different set of conditional validations and verifications by the system, making the review process more complex.

But who knows. Maybe it could work, if done right.

The only time you’re able to use watermarked previews off of our sites is when you’re specifically promoting those items. For example, you are allowed to put your own AE project previews on YT as long as you’re just promoting that template.

I’m planning to upload every videohive project I created (and will create in the future) to youtube. In the videohive preview video I used a watermarked preview of an audiojungle author. I did not buy his music! Now the question is: Am I allowed to use this watermarked audio preview on my promotional video on youtube if I link back to both files (my VH item and the other authors AJ item)?

Good question….I think you’re clear as long as you buy a standard licence on this one?

Feel free to use my watermarked music, infact I already have the watermarked music being advertised on my own YouTube channel. Bottom line as an AJ Author is that I would be happy for any VH author to use my audio previews as long as they were watermarked and had a link to where they can purchase it from.
