I think many of you ( authors & buyers ) are getting boring with these slider + 3 columns + 1/2/3 columns portfolio + 100+ shortcodes + unlimited colors etc ( there will be more if the trends keep on going ).
You will not want to know how many times I see these when reviewing files.
Can we play a game today? between buyers and authors. The aim is to get to know what both of them need or what they can do for this marketplace. So that authors dare to create something unique in terms of structure, layout or functionality.
Buyers:
Post the layout structure, template function ( job board etc. ) that you like or you want. A wire frame layout using boxes and captions. You can even tell how you want the backend to be.
Or any options you need from the theme options that can help in general. I bet you do not want to edit the codes too often.
But keep in mind, this is a marketplace, selling templates, authors are not building templates just for you. So, please try to think of something generic but useful for majority.
Authors:
Go through the layouts and respond back with suggestions or feedbacks. Tell the buyers whether this is possible? If not, why? what is the pro and cons.
*Unique template is good, especially now, but it still have to maintain the aesthetic quality on TF, the typography, element placements, details etc. You know what I mean.
I hope you guys can be active on this thread. This is the first attempt from me ( personally ) trying to stimulate unique designs on TF.
