Update:

The PhotoDune license is special in that it is multi-use as long it’s it’s only for 1 client. The client here being you for your themes. So you’d only need to buy 1 Regular License. If you’re purchasing from GraphicRiver, for example, you need to buy the image license for each item preview.

Hope that helps :)

Thank you KingDog :) I think this is valid even if the graphic’s author say something different http://graphicriver.net/item/idevices-responsive-great-mockup/discussion/3864479 right?

Actually, the author did not tell you anything different.

And even if he did, it does not matter, what matters is what Envato says, and since Envato has spoken in the post above, you are good to go :)

OriginalExe what you say??
tulcarion AUTHOR 1 day ago Flag Hi Hi themes! Thanks for your feedback. About your question. I do not see any problem to use files you’ve bought as you like but not reseling those. U can use files for your previews as many times as you want and for as many projects as you want too.

I dont’ know why you talk this way. Regards.

Oh, I did not notice that the author told you that on graphicriver, the talk was about PhotoDune and images so I mixed them up, my bad, sorry.

So the conclusion would be:

You can buy regular licence of the image on PhotoDune and include it in the multiple previews (without distribution in your package).

For GraphicRiver, you would go with an Extended licence I guess.

At the end, I decided to use just my own-made graphics, or free graphics around the web, under owner permission, even if I already bought one Gr item. I think we all could do something better in order to well sponsorize Gr and Photodune in Themeforest’ s themes.. :( I would like to be allowed to use mockups that I purchased here, putting theme in slides plugins (wich I bought with more than one extended license), in differents themes that we make for sell here, in the previews, without re-buy. Previews are not the same of an image used in a client website… I think that Gr items in Themeforest’s themes previews could be an incentive to buy images from Gr. But actually I think it would be expensive to re-buy the item every time, for use it just in the previews and just in themes that will be sold here, trought the same marketplace, as exclusive authors. Photos will be purchased in single license for each item and it’s all right.

Hope that in future will come a specific concession for exclusive authors that use images just for themes previews :)

Anyway, I love this platform and all the Staff efforts in order to keep all working. You are great.
