Hi,

Maybe it’s a stupid question but i sent few messages to authors and no response.

I’m selling themes on themeforest.
I would like to create nice video instruction with installation and configuration.

And now I need a song for this video.

What i want to do?
1. Recored video documentation
2. Add song for this video
3. Upload video on YouTube and attach it to download package.

1 documentation – 1 extended licence

Of course i want to buy extended licence but i would like to know if this is even possible.

And here is the question
One licence allow me to do this or i need to buy as many licences as many sales i have from my theme with this documentation?

As far as I know an extended licence would do it BUT you would need to make a material change to the piece; e.g. add a voiceover so that the original music could never be obtained again from it.

Maybe others can clarify.

Licenses are based on individual end products, not individual number of sales/views. So yep, 1 documentation video = 1 license. You certainly don’t need to repurchase a license for each sale of that theme, but you would each time you made a new video using it.

The material change is embedding it in the background of a video. There’s no need to add any other audio/voiceover on top unless you want to. Sure pirates/abusers could use some software to rip the track if they desired, but the music is not readily accessible in it’s original form (i.e. you’re not including the raw WAV file in your documentation/theme) so there’s no violation here. However if you felt like putting a link/credit to the AudioJungle item in the YouTube video description, that would certainly help those who like the music be able to easily find and buy it legally, and I’m sure the AJ authors would appreciate it!
