sorry, i think i missed the boat on this one. If we choose to opt out of the two new licenses, what does it mean for buyers? can they use the file multiple times with the standard licence? if not i don`t really get the point of having options to opt out.

so if you opt, the buyer thinks he is getting a better deal with other authors and you are losing out on potential multiple sales.. so why would you do this?

when you opt out there is no link to the standard license below the price tag so buyer may think they can use it multiple time, but this is not right and will be fixed soon

I think the idea that has been floating around is that some authors are afraid that just the existence of those bigger numbers will scare away buyers. They just want to display one simple, low price.

Yes, and also, a couple of long term buyers mentioned that they were not aware of that single license use before the other licenses came up, so I guess some authors want to leave the doubt, but the devs said they would fix that and say “single license” even if you opt out of the other 2….but I think they’ve been busy breaking the rating system instead
