License changes and additions take time as they have a major impact on our entire Marketplaces. They’re not something we want to rush out. However, I’ll see if we can get an update as to how they’re coming along :)

KingDog, if a staff who can understand the norms of CodeCanyon and similar industry comes forward to answer for this kind of threads, that would be helpful even if the answer is utter negative.

Most of the CodeCanyon buyers are coders themselves who’s buying habits are to utilize one plugin on multiple sites. Developer license is more obvious than Extended license in this case. The generalization of “this will impact whole marketplace” sounds like template answer. No offence intended but a straight to the point answer always will be respected but not the diluting ones dragging just the years. Obviously no one asks developer license for GraphicRiver or AudioJungle.

Also note that if a buyer wants to purchase 10 licences on a hurry – he/she has a surprise of “no shopping cart”. So the entire concept of buying license for Multiple projects is officially closed. Sounds like discouraging those who intends to follow 100% legit utilization.

Definitely think we’re leaving money on the table here. Sometimes when I get a support email and click to verify their purchase, I see they bought the item 6 months ago. And based on the frequency that sort of thing occurs, I’m guessing most buyers aren’t finally getting around to use the item for the first time :D

Thing is, do customers even know that items can only be used once? Surely a “developer’s license” option would make them think about it.

Hey guys. Sorry this is taking so long. As you probably know, when it comes to legal, changes happen slowly, but don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten. The legal, dev, and growth teams are all hard at work trying to make things happen. We’ll give you updates when we have them.

Hey Lance, this sounds like you are actually working on new licenses. Is that correct or are you “hard working” at something different?

Yeah, this really needs to be added, right now the buyers are pretty limited.

But seriously though, what’s a T-shirt Extended license is for? Really curious here. :-)
