Hi guys :)

Could anyone please help me with this? I can not figure out what I may use in themeforest html teplates I am making, and what I am not allowed to use…

For example: https://github.com/viljamis/ResponsiveSlides.js

It says: “Licensed under the MIT license.

As far as I understand, I could use this slider, just I would have to include copyright info in my js file or on any place in code where any of slider code is used? Or does this copyright info have to show in design, so a visitor can see?

Other thing, I can hardly understand, what images can I use or not. I have read everything I could find on support about this, but still could not get much smarter…. :)

Does this apply to all MIT licensed scripts?

What about Creative Commons licenses?

Or I just have to look each file individually and make a decision – can or can not this file be used on my item?

Something similar about images, icons…. I just can not understand, what I may use, what not… MIT licenses? Creative Commons? Where to put copyright? In code? On design?

Thanks :)

With MIT license, how should I include copyright info? Within code, or reflect it in a design?

Thanks!

if you have a main plugins.js or any file where you will post the js code just leave the copyright info on top of the js code. You dont have to manually add the copyright info as most scripts come with it.

For images you can use most images if they have a commercial use license, if you find images other places just ask for permission before use.
