We got sick of it. Collis whipped up a new hackey-sack badge that we have instead. The dev-team lets off some steam each day by playing a bit of hackey-sack.

Yeah, did consider it but there are too many images (and they are too large) to preload. It would kill our servers and waste user’s bandwidth.
Funnily enough, the lightbox is more usable to use on the live site than on my development machine, where the load times are instant. The downloading somehow ‘feels right’ and the instant load feels strange. Hard to explain.
