it locked for few day or will stay locked forever? becouse i still new here… and when template update… do i can download again? thanks…
Hi,
The issue was caused by using a download manager, which we highly advise against because it swarms our servers and can lock the downloads. You get 20 per day, and 50 total per item.
Send an email into support with your account info and the item in question so your downloads can be extended. Also, please don’t use a download manager in the future when downloading items

What about download counter? It’s might helps buyer knows how many they already downloaded the items.

Going over the 50-downloads limit is just ridiculous if you’re not using some form of automated system like a download manager. If they do, well, there’s the error message that tells them to contact support. There’s not much point in knowing if you downloaded the file 3 or perhaps 4 times.

you would have to be pretty stupid if you had to download a file 20 time in a day,
It would be like, oh where did i save that file i just download it again, and you aloud to do this 20 time a day, i think that is so much!
I have only every downloaded a file a max of 2-3 times

Why not? New features, bug fixes, etc… 50 are many, but could happen 
I mean, this limit is set to fight piracy, but I never found a pirated file linked directly to a buyer account… usually they are hosted elsewhere. So probably the truth is that envato wants to save bandwidth.

Sounds like a valid reason to me, especially given that (nearly) 100% of the downloaders exceeding 50 did so by accident (using buggy download managers), not because they intended to.

Hey guys, Just to be clear, this is talking about how many times you can download from the downloads page a file you’ve bought. Sometimes the download breaks so you need to download it more than once, but too many downloads could imply piracy, hence the limit.
50 downloads in a day too much limit at all.
