Does anyone know of a service that allows developers to edit code on the fly? Something that is similar to Google Docs but for developers?

User Story: During a phone call, a developer and I look at some code, as the developer changes it, I can see whats going on as he/she explains their logic.

Looks like an interesting experiment… I was thinking about the same thing just the other day, it could be very useful for explaining things to clients.
