Hi All,

I haven’t been around here for a while (since 2009) but an old customer has emailed me about an image loading issue, basically every now and then an image just doesn’t load. It’s with an as2 template of mine.

I’m sure it’s not a big deal and I’ll be able to sort it out, but I won’t be able to debug this til mid next week when I get back to my computer with my code and dev environment on it.

So, just thought I’d check to see if anyone else had any legacy code that has suddenly stopped working recently.

Cheers,

Steve

Yep, I got the same issue with one of my customers.
The problem occurred on IE and Chrome but FF is working fine.

I suspect it’s the same issue mentioned in this thread: http://activeden.net/forums/thread/smoothimageloader-and-latest-flash-plugin/79833

The MovieClipLoader onLoadInit event just doesn’t fire occasionally.

Best I have come up with so far is to patch it up with an interval hack that I set up onLoadComplete

eugh!
