Log Out across Envato Marketplace

Hi,

I’ve just noticed the following issue when trying to log out of my user account:

1.- I enter FlashDen, and then log in into my account. 2.- I switch to any other marketplace, like video Hive, or any other. 3.- Now, when I decide to log out, this only affects the current site i’m on, which means that if I go back to any of the others visited when i was logged in, I’m still logged in.

I think that this is a serious security issue, specially for those of us who use a shared computer.

Yes, I know that I can go visit each of the sites and hit “log out”, but this is slow, uncomfortable and weird, in my opinion.

Login once across the entire marketplace is very nice, so I think that log out should work the same.

I totally agree, was gobsmacked when I first discovered this myself. I can understand technically why it is like it is.

Yup, looks like if you don’t visit the other sites it wont log you in.

Try visiting another envato site from a new window (ie: no referral url)

If there is an envato site in the referral url it will redirect you to the login box and then back to the site and log you in.

So you don’t have to go to each and every site and log out if you haven’t visited those sites.

Would be nice to have a logout once, logout everywhere feature tho.

I agree… I figured out this one too a while ago… I hope the new design will log out in all Marketplace .

To be honest after some of the disasters we’ve had with recent new features I’m quite relieved that they are not rushing the process just to meet deadline.

I’d like to see the new design be a positive thing with as few issues as possible rather than 1 million and 1 hickups and some very disgruntled authors and buyers.

I know the whole team are working like trojans to get it up and running, so it she be more than worth the wait
