Hi forum,

I have a question about logo/ stationery mock ups. I work on online projects at sites like crowdspring or 99designs (if you don’t know them, they are like this: you participate on a contest where the buyer request a logo/ stationery or anything else and if he likes your work better you win the project). So i am asking if it’s allowed to present my logos on mock ups i purchase from here. Normally i would be using a mock up to convince a buyer to buy my logo however i will only sell him my vector logo so mock up is just for show up. Do you think that’s legal?

Thanks!

Yuk – spec work and crowdsourcing – you are a brave man!

I think you would have to ask that question on the respective sites you present your work on. They make the rules, do they not have any forum or support you can ask there?

Cheers

Chris

If your question is can you use a logo-kind mockup to represent your logo for commercial purposes the answer is yes. I think that’s the reason they made the mockups for (:
