Logo upload in Joomla template parameters

Okay, I may be over confusing things here but here is my issue and I’d appreciate any help from Joomla devs:

I want to be able to allow someone to upload their logo straight from the template backend. I’m using the Warp framework. I’ve managed to get the colour picker working using jscolor

Also, I can see that the very simple beez_20 default template has a logo chooser which uses the field type=”media”. However, this doesnt work well in warp.

Hopefully I’ve overlooked a very simple fix!
