Seem to have calmed down in london now very little news of trouble, think this is due to there being over 10,000 police on the streets. The only problem with this is that people in manchester are now rioting as there are so many police there it wont really be clear till the morning as to what damage has been done. Roit don’t seem to be on the same scale as last night.

Stay safe guys! I just saw on TV that the police HQ got attacked too?. Reminds me of the looting around here on 2001, hopefully the police will be able to contain rather than just shoot anyone and generate more excuses for riots.

There are some incidents in Chile too (though much less violent).

There was no where near 16,000 police just a tactic to get people of the street I thing they have about 9,000. Glad it had an effect I just hope it dies down now it the last thing the uk needs. Hope people have got it out there systems now and it does not spread further round the country.

Absolute madness last night london was quite and had a large police pressents, but the problem is that it then meant the riot happened else where. They were I manchester notingham and birmingham, a number of people were killed in a hit an run.

The discusting thing is that the youths are trying to justify there action by comparing it to the events around the rest of the world, but the actions could not be any more different we have so many opportunities for the young, if you cant get a job there are workshops coarse provides for free. If you have not worked hard at school and got no qualifications it is your own fault for not getting a job you can’t blame the government.

As a country we don’t have many unskilled jobs availible as manufacturing is not a viable option in the uk due to cost, this means you have to get the relevent skills to get work if you choose not to it is you own fault. I put so much effort to get the skills I have and as a result even in the ecconmic trouble I have found it easy to find work and even change jobs and get promitions.

I really hope the troube is over now but only tonight will we see.
