Here’s the deal. If 50/50 is fair on PSD / WP, then what’s the fair split for PSD + HTML (from the designer) and WP from the programmer? 50/50 again? HTML takes time as well. Less than 50 for the WP dev? No way.

Okay. I agree, if this is a one-off project. But if you ever work in a team (designer and developer), then 50/50. Responsibilities are shared equally.

A coder does a lot more work and uses more time in developing the website, not to forget that any bugs / customization is done by the coder, not the designer.

I’m sorry to say that I don’t see how a designer shares the same responsibility with the developer in this case.

I was only replying to that 90%-wp 10%-designer post, nothing more, because 90-10 sounds ridiculous to me. My last post here
