Looking for a Web Designer Partner for Selling WP Themes

Hi folks,

I’m an experienced HTML , CSS, PHP , Javascript and Wordpress coder and I’m looking for a Web Designer partner who I can team up with in creating and selling Wordpress Themes here.

I can design but it’s not really my cup of tea and we can speed up the process by focusing on our core skills.

Profit sharing would have to be 60% (me) and 40% (you).

60/40, I think you’re underestimating the design process.

To be fair 60/40 wouldn’t be too bad since he would be coding for WP. Maybe 55/45 or even 50/50 though, because to get the really good designs you can’t just spew them out, they take a long time.

I believe that the 40/60 split is good. Afterall the developer have to give support.

Also, if the designer is capable of deliver high quality designs, than 45/55 can be a good deal.

60/40 takes into account that the developer will have to provide the support.

But this topic is almost a month old. No need to revive it unless zotium is still looking for a partner.

Yup, I still am looking for a partner. Sevensparks right about the 60/40, because the developer (that’s me) will have to provide after sales support for any questions the buyer might have. I believe that’s just fair.

Aprt from that, if you design something you can also sell teh same design as a PSD item, and you wouldn’t have to share the proceeds with anyone, except well, envato
