Hey guys.
I have a weird task.
I need to create a WP theme, which will contain only 1 page without sidebar, search, blog etc. Kinda landing page.
So i don’t know WP dev, but i want to try
There should be 4 files = index.php, page.php, header.php and footer.php
Everything is clear. But what should i insert, if those people want to edit this page content from standard wp wysiwyg editor? I mean everything between header and footer should be editable from 1 page in admin panel. I know it’s very simple, but no idea what and where should i insert
Thanks!

Just download a free theme or buy one here. Research it till it makes sence and try to implement your new found knowledge into the landingpage
Trial and error is the best way to learn really.
Cheers!

Do a Google search for WordPress landing pages, or download a free one, dissect it, and learn.
On top of my mind:
Option 1 – Content editable through theme options page (the page separated in sections).
Option 2 – Widgetized homepage (user uses widgets to insert content, you might need to create custom widgets).
Option 3 – Custom page template + content (for main area or something) + custom fields (for smaller areas).
Option 4 – Well you can’t do this, i can
Build custom modules for the content composer(something we made for our themes) and let the user create the content as he wants it easily
If i couldn’t use Option 4 then i would go with the Option 1.
