Hi guys,

We have been very unsatisfied with our hosting company lately and we would like to switch to a new one. We dont want to make wrong decision again so we thought we might ask for your suggestions.

Main purpose for us is the theme hosting – we need fast loading and reliability, huge or unlimited bandwidth is a big plus.

We are thinking about Media temple, but we’d love to hear some opinions from TF authors first. So where do you host your files? Are you satisfied? Can you suggest any other company?

Thanks a lot

Host Gator – I actually left (mt) Media Temple not to long ago. I was very unhappy with their service and the “Plesk” control panel they use is horrible.

So where do you host your files?
I have always used GoDaddy Grid hosting.

Are you satisfied?
Yeah there has been really no downtime and it is fast.

Can you suggest any other company?
While i have heard Hostgator is good also (MT) of course.

I recently switched to “this web host” and the service is cool :)

There is no such thing as unlimited bandwidth. I wanted to go with MT but for now chose this and it fits my needs perfectly.

Hostgator is amazing. They have quick live chat support and the servers are always up. Only “bad” thing is that for every site that you want to use the timthumb script on you have to tell support to change the mod_sec rule for you. Other than that they’re amazing.

If you can do basic sysadmin by yourself (unmanaged service), go with vps.net, but if I’m not mistaking they added managed services recently as well.
