We have a weekly sales bulletin that goes out to post their current rankings. Some of the key features are: - Listing of top territories - Listing of top sales reps - Brief story about the top sales rep of the week
There are a few more “buckets” of information, but most of those can easily be accomplished with a text widget.
My goal would be to have a Wordpress template where you could enter the top territories and top reps for the week – with their sales numbers – and they be displayed nicely on the sidebar. The main issue I’ve had with the themes that I’ve found is that I want this will change every week, and we need to be able to go back to previous weeks – so we need this kind of like a blog posting that can show the full content in the sidebar, and be able to schedule when the next week’s information will publish.
The feature story is a simple blog post, so that’s easy enough.
