There are so many galleries listed here, and now confused, but do not seem to see what I need. Is there a script to be bought that does the following:

1. Albums can include (mixed) images, mp4, flv and perhaps mp3. 2. Unlimited in all aspects. I have 2000 directories (albums) and over 49,000 images 3. Image can be resized to original by user. 4. Any media can be downloaded by the user. 5. Script must read the album dir for filenames. I cannot enter that many names manually. 6. Thumbnail or text Index of Albums

I think that is all. Thanks for any answer.

Things are that easy as you might think. You are mentioning video and audio files. If you want to have video and audio files, you will need to have multiple file formats because not all browsers support just single file format. On top of that, reading directories for file names makes your job that much harder because for every mp4 video file you need to have ogv pair, and for every mp3 audio file you need to have ogg pair, and they need to be named the same.

Perhaps, I have not explained it well. Two very small footprint scripts are out there that do exactly what I am saying. They are called Shampoo (Gallery) and the other is WeatImages. I just do not care for their interface. I believe both authors and no longer developing them. They both work like a charm, but are not all that user friendly. They both mix video, audio, images, mp3 and even pdf’s. I am not a coder, but I believe the formats must call upon the users default programs to play them – they are not built in. Except one says it has flowplayer in it.

You can see my Weatimages Gallery here: http://perioddrama.com/albums/index.php

If you go there and select “A Beautiful Mind”, you will see the images, which can be clicked on to full size. But at the bottom of the images is a link to the .mp4 trailer that resides on my server. It is not calling YouTube.

So, perhaps, I did not explain myself. Maybe you will have something similar, after all.

Both those programs are free, but I would gladly pay to have one that I like.

Thank you for reading. I have bought product from you in the past.
