Hi there,

Finally I’m ready in my mind about partnership with some themeforest developers. I’m just looking for professional, responsible, faster, knowledgeable and seriously. These skills are very important for me.

I have one psd design ready to HTML and Wordpress on the PSD category.

http://themeforest.net/item/blueway-minimal-clean-psd-template/2166560

I thinking we gonna split earned money. I mean %50 to %50.

Please just seriously people get in touch.

Hello,

With all due respect, no developer in his right mind would accept to split earnings 50-50 on both HTML and WP with a designer who created a PSD . The HTML only takes up more time to develop than the PSD ’s do, needless to say that Wordpress comes with a load of support requests clients send. So…PSD does not = HTML + Wordpress + hours and hours of support.

I’m letting you know so you won’t be disappointed and won’t get yourself in a deal which would eventually end badly. If you’re interested in selling the development rights to the PSD send me an email, I’m interested. Let me know what’s your price and we’ll see if we can make the deal.

Cheers

There is a greater chance for the end of the world to come in december 2012 than you to find a good developer that will work for 50-50 on PSD . Good luck with that. In a few months your PSD will be totally useless and will be hard-rejected because the standards will go up again, so I’d take any deal above 20% with a GOOD developer.

Good luck with your sales mate. 46 sales on a PSD mean 230$. Try thinking how much 46 sales are worth on a 40$ wordpress. Do the math and then you’ll figure out which is more important.

When you see a Wordpress which has 10 sales, know that the author already has as much money as you do after 46. You’re very talented and your design looks great, but you should learn from our replies. Pay somebody to create your html/wordpress if you want to, but no1 in his right mind would accept your deal.

Cheers

I don’t care to be useless my psd. I sent many design to garbage. You know, design has to get %50 to %50. This’s personel opinion!

Me and Luke shares 50% of the earnings since the start of our partnership and we don’t mind this however we share a lot of work between us. For myself, I handle technical support and code all day while Luke handles design, all the awesome marketing stuff and general support along with Mel (our awesome support girl).

50/50 can definitely work but I think if designer wants to do nothing but design then 35-40% is fair but 20% is not.

As I said in other topics, a fair split would be 50-50 for PSD + HTML vs WP, maybe 45-55(55 for WP) in case it gets 500+ sales, for the support requests, or 40-60. After that, the 50% for PSD + HTML has to be split in either 25% – 25% or 20% – 30%, so if the WP dev does that too, he should take let’s say 50% for WP and 25% for HTML , which is 75%. 75-25 or 70-30 looks fair for me, for a good design.

Yes but that’s fair. You’re paying the support girl, then split up the rest of the money, but the rest of the work as well. It’s not really what Seyyahil proposes.
