Looking for WP Theme for Local Government Site

The site would have lots of textual content and lots of updates. It has got to look “governmentey” I don’t have any more info on the contents of the site as of the moment.

Any suggestions for a good theme I can start on?

I used it with the same purpose, political, government oriented.

A bit too spacey, there’ll be lots of content and this may not be fit.

You could edit the theme’s style sheet to tighten up the “spacey” parts.

Why not get a theme that looks very plain, but has the structure you want? And then you skin it to look “governmenty” or whatever.

Yes I can do that, I’m just looking for suggestions from the experts just incase. I don’t want to reinvent the wheel
