Hey everyone, so I have been working on a design project lately and I’ve been trying to find some freelance developers to develop a site of mine and code it into a select CMS (the cms is open for debate but popular ones are WP, PyroCMS, Joomla etc)

I’ve already wasted a good deal of money trying to find a developer on a couple freelance sites and let’s just say they have been a waste of time and I’m out a nice amount of cash… my daughter could do better than this guy

Here is an image of the design—http://i.imgur.com/soNLyKJ.jpg and there a few subpages to also give you an idea of what an article page would look like etc but I’ll wait for some contact info to discuss more, but that’s a general idea of the scheme.

The overall design is meant to be interactive so there will be a lot of CSS3/JS involved to give it that ‘interactive’ feel.

Requirements: Online skype very often during my hours so we can go over and can track progress and make sure everything is falling into place as it should. I will not tolerate developers who basically do not come online and then shoot me a huge update, I’ve been bitten too many times.

Must understand how the PSD functions, example: What is a hover button and what isn’t (unlike this developer who clearly doesn’t know what a UIKit is and actually coded up random buttons for no reason)

W3C Valid using latest web standards such as HTML5/CSS3 Cross browser supported and must fit smaller resolution screens such as mobile (if it can be made responsive, that would be nice, but I doubt the design could achieve that)

Price is negotiable, I’m a developer so I know what is worth and what isn’t, I just do not have the time to take on my own project and would rather pay.

Thanks in advance,

- Dylan

P.S Please ask questions if you have them!

The PSD looks great and you have high expectations (requirements), but that’s how it must be in order to create a quality product.

It will be hard to find a good dev guy in my opinion, because most of them will either be already committed to some big project, work full time or simply not have the time (like yourself).

The design is really good, don’t know if it would sell, because it is so specific and because TF only approves minimal flat designs lately (hint hint), but it sure is prize worthy! That’s what I call pixel perfect :)

So, keep it up and best of luck!

Thanks, but this isn’t going to be a release here, it’s for my own project. I could do something like this with the community software, it’s really not THAT hard, it looks more complicated than it really is.

Do you have a portfolio I can see for WP, Webpsell and Couch?

Those are the 3 I’m interested in seeing. Shoot me an email if you’d like: deriggs007@gmail.com

I’ve sent you a reply and thanks.

I’m still looking at others as well, I do not have a budget at the top of my head and willing to figure out what is acceptable for both of us

I’m still looking for more people that may be interested, this is merely a freelance private project for me and is not a theme release on the marketplace. I’ll most likely be running with WP
